Directions to the Eureka Institute Annex & Eureka Mountain Center

Most of our programs and workshops will either be held at, or used as a location to meet, at either the Eureka Institute Annex, in downtown Sandpoint, or the Eureka Mountain Center in Sagle, 25 minutes outside Sandpoint.  Technology is an incredible tool as you can see by the interactive map that Mapquest has provided us below.  However it does not come without it's flaws.  Mapquest has the location for the Mountain Center on their map wrong when you search the address so please use the written directions that I will give you below.

Eureka Institute Annex:  If you are coming from the north you will take Hwy 95 south, and from the east Hwy 200 into Downtown Sandpoint.  The address is 513 Oak Street, a metal warehouse on Oak between 5th & 6th ave in the old Granary Arts District. You should be able to navigate your way with the map below by hitting the + sign and zooming in on Sandpoint.

Eureka Mountain Center:  You will take Hwy 95 from either the north or south to Sagle Rd.  It is approximately 6 miles south of the Sandpoint and you will see signs directing you towards Garfield Bay.  Go east on Sage Rd for 11 miles (good idea to set odometer, bearing left at the 2 Y's) until you get to Eureka Rd on the left, (more like going straight as Sagle Rd veers the right).  Here is where Mapquest is wrong.  Go only 50 yards down Eureka Rd and we are the first driveway on the left.  Address is on the mailbox 6162..........
